Crush

Good evening everyone. Little bit of a late post, I know.. but I wanna get this published so I ain't letting Team ODD down anymore than I already have. Been a little MIA of late, what with work and the rush of Christmas. Hopefully things have a chance to get back to normal after Sunday. Why can't I be more organised?!

Anywho, enough waffle. Wanna know what the SOG beauties have got for ya this week?! Only a little

PHOTO INSPIRATION!!

You got it!! We want to see you use this photo to inspire your creation. Head on over to the Challenge Blog now to see what the other ODDies created for ya. It's a real feast for the eyes - let me tell ya. Plus, they've used clear stamps from the newest release. Double whammy of yummy-ness! This challenge will run until 3rd January, so plenty of time to get your entries in.

Here's what I've got for ya using Crushin Gwen. You can pre-order her from the store NOW!

Do ya LOVE her expression?! I sure do. She makes me happy. I've coloured her using Copics and Promarkers, fussy cut her out and adhered her to the card using dimesionals. I have used some more delicious papers from MME Madison Avenue 6x6 pad. Love this stuff. All of the brown makes it so much easier for me to incorporate the pink! :)

I've used one of the sentiments from the set, stamped in Frayed Burlap and cut using a Decorative Label punch from SU!. I've added a bunch of pearl brads from WOC to embellish as well as some pink bakers twine from The Ribbon Girl. Yum. :) I've said yum so much anyone would think I wanted to eat the damn card! LOL!

Instead of using the photo as a colour inspiration, I sorta went down the 'whole bunch of hearts' route. :) Kinda like how it turned out. I used the tiny heart from the Lovey Tobie set along side some punched hearts along the pink strip. Hearty hearts.

I can't wait to see how you guys interpret the photo inspiration - be sure to link up your new creations to the challenge blog!!

Enjoy the rest of your night, whatever you're doing. I'm off to cabbage in front of the TV for a while then I'm gonna crack on with the VERY LAST of my Christmas cards!! Yippeee!!
